Eagle's Nest is comprised of approximately 400 acres and sits on a plateau above the New River, protected by more than two miles of sheer rock bluffs that fall more than sixty feet. This portion of the New River is its most unique, with no roads and no train tracks to spoil its' amazing beauty. In fact, this area is so beautiful, the U.S. Congress is currently conducting a National Wild and Scenic study.

Beyond the protection of the bluffs, the property is surrounded on three sides by the Bluestone State Park/Wildlife Management Area which will protect the view sheds in perpetuity and offers direct access to more than 17,600 acres of prime recreational opportunities. The property is contiguous to Shanklin's Ferry recreation area to the south and Cedar Branch Recreation Area to the North, both of which offer boat access to one of the nation's top smallmouth bass fisheries.
The property itself is well suited to anything you can imagine, with more than 170 acres of level land that extend right to the edge of the bluffs. One-hundred twenty acres of this is pasture and fifty acres are wooded. The remainder of the property is a wooded hillside that overlooks the property and the river.
